A landmark residential project at Montreal’s doorstep

This first high-end residential development was a key milestone for us. Located near a train station, it aimed to transform a former office building into a multi-residential complex of 400 units spread across two interconnected buildings. This design allowed for the sharing of high-quality common areas while distinguishing the condos from the rental units.

Elevated common areas for an enhanced experience

Given the dense and constrained site, we made a strategic choice: placing the common areas on the top floor instead of the ground floor. This decision offered several advantages:

  • A breathtaking view of Montreal;

  • A rooftop terrace with a pool and garden;

  • Varied indoor spaces encouraging social interactions.

The idea was to create a true living environment where occupants of different units could share the same spaces, fostering a sense of community.

On the ground floor, we planned a spacious private lobby for both the condos and rental units, as well as commercial spaces to energize the area.

Although this project has yet to come to life, it remains a vision we are proud of. Who knows? The opportunity to bring it to fruition may arise soon!
